While it may not be able to reduce the likelihood of an accident, helmets certainly reduce the severity of the injuries that can be sustained in an accident.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/diamondlaw.ca\/\">personal injury lawyer<\/a>, I see the effect of helmets first-hand. For every 100 accidents, that\u2019s 85 people whose lives can be saved by wearing a helmet.Many individuals choose not to wear a helmet because they aren\u2019t attractive or aren\u2019t comfortable. After an accident, these same people invariably regret that they hadn\u2019t traded comfort and aesthetics for safety.<\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n<\/tbody>\r\n<\/table>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You\u2019ve only got one brain.
